On May 18, 2024, the Getty Research Library hosted an exciting showcase exploring the transformative world of spatial computing. From virtual and augmented reality to robotics and 3D printing, this event allowed guests to experience the cutting-edge technologies shaping the future.

What made this showcase particularly special was the collaborative work of local students, intergenerational artists, and technologists, all of whom were trained at TecnoLatinx’s XR Lab. Through our hands-on workshops, students gain valuable technical skills in emerging technologies like AR, XR, and 3D design. These young creators had the unique opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills to produce innovative projects that reflect their diverse cultural backgrounds and imaginations.
